Speech-Language Pathology

The speech-language pathology team provides assessment, consultation, intervention and education services.

They treat patients with the following problems:

  • Language delays;
  • Voice disorders;
  • Speech disorders;
  • Stuttering;
  • Cognitive disorders;
  • Difficulty swallowing.

Speech-language pathologists provide services for inpatients as well as for children and adults seen in the outpatient clinics.

To receive speech-language pathology services:

  • A person may be referred by a physician or other health professional;
