Strike action by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE): Changes to the usual hospital entrances

Vitalité Health Network, Tuesday, November 2, 2021

Vitalité Health Network would like to advise the public that the usual entrances to its facilities could be closed temporarily due to the CUPE strike and that patients could be directed to other entrances. For example, the Emergency entrance of a hospital could be used at certain times of the day (instead of the main entrance).

Expect delays entering facilities. The Network thanks the public for its understanding and patience during this time. The Network would also like to remind the public of the importance of following physical distancing guidelines while waiting in line and once inside its facilities.

The Network’s priority is to provide safe, quality care.
