2020–2023 Strategic Plan: Vitalité Health Network seeks your input

Bathurst, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 – The Board of Directors of Vitalité Health Network will be holding public consultations from November 12 to 22, 2019 as part of its strategic planning process designed to redefine the organization’s priorities for the next three years. As was the case during the last consultations held in the fall of 2016, the objective is to revise the organization’s mission, vision and values and identify its major strategic priorities.

The people living within the Network’s territory, organizations, municipalities and other partners are being asked for their input on the direction the Network must take in designing its new 2020–2023 Strategic Plan. The Board of Directors is supervising the strategic planning process and is responsible for subsequent approval and follow-up.

“Vitalité Health Network is providing a forum for its partners and the public to comment on the priorities, issues and areas for action that the Network should focus on in coming years,” explained the Board Chairperson, Michelyne Paulin.  “This community participation is tremendously important since it will help us draw a more accurate portrait of people’s health needs and of the elements that people see as priorities.”

The public can access an online questionnaire posted on the Network’s website. The public consultation process will also include targeted interviews with a number of partners, both internally (employees, physicians, health professionals) and externally (educational institutions, municipalities, community organizations).  Responses will remain confidential.
