Medical Unit

The Medical Unit has 20 beds. The unit team receives individuals with acute or chronic diseases and individuals receiving palliative care.

The interdisciplinary team creates a comforting, therapeutic and warm environment, while meeting the clinical needs of each patient.

Most admissions come from the Emergency Department.

The staff encourages families to take part in the care of their loved ones. Patients benefit from spiritual care and the support of a team of volunteers.
