About internships
The Network welcomes students for educational internships at its health care facilities across its four zones. Please note that students are expected to have the capacity to communicate in the designated operating language for each zone:
Zone 1B (Beauséjour): French
Zone 4 (Northwest): French
Zone 5 (Restigouche): French and English
Zone 6 (Chaleur): French and English
Zone 6 (Acadian Peninsula): French
Nursing students make up a large proportion of our student placements and are indeed our largest group of trainees. Every year, we welcome students to learn from our many nursing providers:

The Network regularly welcomes students for clinical internships (excluding medical and nursing) from various university and college programs. There are many opportunities for clinical placements within the Network, namely for:

- Medical radiation technologists

Non-clinical placements include students from colleges and universities. The Network offers numerous opportunities for such placements, including for:

The Network welcomes numerous high school students throughout the school year. We offer a variety of placements, including:
- Short-Term Placements (1 to 3 days): Observational opportunities to learn more about specific fields;
- Extended Placements (more than 3 days): Placements for a set period in one or more of the Network’s health care facilities;
- Visits: Organized tours to explore various careers within a hospital;
- CO-OP Placements: 14–16 week part-time internships to fulfill CO-OP program requirements.
