Vitalité Health Network announces the return of Look Good Feel Better in-person workshops at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre

Vitalité Health Network is proud to announce the return of Look Good Feel Better in-person workshops at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre in Moncton. Designed specifically for women with cancer, these free workshops offer participants a chance to relax, connect, and receive support—helping them regain confidence, smile and feel like themselves again.
The workshops are led by volunteer specialists and focus on skincare, makeup, and wellness. They offer easy techniques for tying scarves, advice on choosing a hair prosthesis, and much more. The workshops aim to help women better manage the visible effects of cancer and its treatment, and provide them with the tools they need to maintain a positive self-image.
Thanks to a long-standing partnership with Vitalité Health Network, the Look Good Feel Better workshops have been offered at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre for over 20 years. After a temporary suspension due to the pandemic, the resumption of in-person sessions has been met with enthusiasm from participants, care teams, and volunteers.
The first in-person workshop will take place on October 20, 2025, at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre.
“These workshops offer much more than esthetic care: they foster overall well-being and create a welcoming space for mutual support and solidarity. We are delighted to once again welcome participants in person,” said Charles Allain, Manager of Volunteer Services at Vitalité Health Network.
For those outside the Moncton area, several virtual options remain available. Workshops are also available in English, and some virtual sessions are specifically tailored for men and teenage girls.
Those wishing to participate in a workshop can register by calling 1-800-914-5665 or visiting the website at www.bbdsp.ca.
Look Good Feel Better is Canada’s only national charitable program dedicated to helping people manage the effects of cancer and its treatment.
