Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre celebrates 30 years of excellence in the fight against cancer
Vitalité Health Network, October 20, 2023 – The Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre is celebrating its 30th anniversary! To mark this milestone in the history of this pillar of hope and innovation in the fight against cancer, a festive evening high in emotion will take place at the Delta Beauséjour Hotel, 750 Main Street, in Moncton, on October 28, 5:30 p.m.

All proceeds of this gala will go to the Tree of Hope, a charitable initiative providing much-needed support to people and families touched by cancer.
Over the past three decades, the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre has taken its place as a major player in cancer research, prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment.
According to Dr. Linda LeBlanc, Head of the Regional Oncology Department of the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre, this commemorative evening will celebrate the facility’s exceptional heritage and cast a promising eye to the future.
“Our predecessors led a monumental fight at the time to win government support for an oncology centre in Moncton with a provincial mandate. This 30th anniversary celebration will be an occasion to relive this history and celebrate our successes. Come join our caregivers, former staff members, family and friends to mark this great event.”
The evening will also feature staff members sharing their experiences and the major advances achieved in the fight against cancer.
