Excellent quality of care and services

The Network is constantly striving to improve the quality of its care and services. There is always room for improvement, but we are proud of our successes.

In June 2017, the Network was granted accreditation following the survey conducted by Accreditation Canada.

Accreditation is one of the mechanisms used to evaluate and improve the quality of our care and services. The accreditation process involves internal self-evaluations followed by an external audit conducted by outside professionals. It is based on national standards of excellence. This accreditation is recognized nationally and internationally.

All the laboratories in the Network participate in a separate accreditation process and are accredited by IQMH (Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare). IQMH is an independent, not-for-profit organization that grants the "accredited" status to medical laboratories.
