Vitalité Health Network institutes new local management of its regional hospitals

Bathurst, December 13, 2021 – Vitalité Health Network is announcing the addition of four Hospital Activity Director positions, i.e one for each regional hospital. Reporting to the Vice-President of Clinical Services, these directors will be located at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, Edmundston Regional Hospital, Campbellton Regional Hospital and Chaleur Regional Hospital where they will manage all local activities within their respective facilities.

The Network feels that this adjustment to its operations will allow the organization to continue benefitting from its “networked” approach and at the same time support increased coordination and improved local decision-making.  “We are pleased to be able to count on these new directors on our team who, in addition to handling the daily management of hospital activities, will have a role to play in tightening relationships and communication with our community partners,” explained Dr. France Desrosiers, CEO of the Network.

The new directors include Kathy Toth at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, Brian Dubé at the Edmundston Regional Hospital, Maxime Saulnier at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, and Anne-Marie Lavigne at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.
