Visit Restrictions lifted at the 4th floor West (Extended Care Unit) of the Chaleur Regional Hospital ** REVISED **

Bathurst, March 24, 2017 – The management of the Chaleur Regional Hospital informs the public that visits are again permitted to the Extended Care Unit located on the 4^th floor West of the facility. It should be noted that the East section of the same floor, with the exception of Palliative Care, is currently closed to visitors due to the presence of gastroenteritis symptoms among patients and employees.

People with gastroenteritis symptoms are asked to refrain from coming to the hospital to visit inpatients.

The management of the Chaleur Regional Hospital would like to thank the population for its cooperation.
