Temporary interruption of pediatric services at the Edmundston Regional Hospital

Edmundston, Friday, April 29, 2022 – Vitalité Health Network is announcing that the pediatric services normally provided at the Edmundston Regional Hospital are temporarily suspended due to a shortage of medical staff in the facility.

These services are suspended effective immediately; however, they will resume on tomorrow, April 30, 2022, at 2 p.m.

People who require pediatric services at that hospital during the temporary suspension must present to the Emergency Department of the Edmundston Regional Hospital where situations will be treated on a case-by-case basis with the possibility of being redirected to another facility of the Network.

The Network regrets any inconvenience that this situation may cause.
