Bathurst, June 20, 2016 – Vitalité Health Network informs the population that the suspension of visits at Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst has been lifted for the East Unit (General Medicine) and the 4 West Unit (Long-Term Care).

The suspension of visits remains in effect for the 2 East Unit (Residential Care) and will be reevaluated on Wednesday June 22.

This situation, declared this past June 7, is due to the presence of scabies among a number of patients and staff.
