Provincial program conducting survey on children’s cancer services

Moncton, February 7, 2014 – New Brunswick’s Pediatric Oncology Patient Navigator Program is conducting a confidential, online survey to improve children’s cancer care services across the province.

The program is looking for parents/guardians of children or teenagers, who were under 17 years of age at the time of the cancer diagnosis, between the years of 2005 and 2013, to provide feedback about the service they received while navigating the health-care system during their time of treatment.

All information collected in the survey is confidential and for research purposes only. The Pediatric Oncology Patient Navigator works closely with children and teens, their families, and the health-care team, both in and outside of New Brunswick, to help them navigate the health-care and community support systems during cancer treatment.

There are currently two Pediatric Oncology Patient Navigators within New Brunswick. To take part in the online survey, please click here. For more information please check online or contact 506-432-3262 or 506-862-7516.
