Patient visits resuming and non-urgent services gradually resuming at Campbellton Regional Hospital

Campbellton, June 26, 2020 – Vitalité Health Network informs the public that patient visits will be resuming, and non-urgent services will be gradually resuming at the Campbellton Regional Hospital as of Monday, June 29, 2020.

“With the move to the yellow phase for the population of Restigouche and the stagnation of new COVID-19 cases within hospital staff, the Network is resuming the delivery of patient services at the Campbellton Regional Hospital,” said Gilles Lanteigne, President and CEO of Vitalité Health Network. “However, the COVID-19-related preventive measures already in place in other Network facilities will also need to be applied at this hospital,” he added.

Services available as of June 29, 2020:

  • Non-urgent outpatient care and services
  • Elective surgeries
  • Patient visits
  • Emergency (already in place since Wednesday, June 24)

The Network invites the public to check out the COVID-19 section of its website to learn about all the preventive measures to follow as well as specific exemptions and restrictions before going to one of its facilities.
