Obstetrical services temporarily suspended at Campbellton Regional Hospital

Campbellton, January 19, 2016 – The administration of the Campbellton Regional Hospital informs the public that due to unforeseen circumstances, obstetrical services are temporarily suspended from Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at noon to Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

In the meantime, pregnant women requiring obstetrical services may go to the Campbellton Regional Hospital for assessment and, where necessary, they will be transferred to the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst for childbirth. For those coming from Quebec, they will be transferred to Maria Hospital for delivery.

The administration of the Campbellton Regional Hospital regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
