General Info

The Kedgwick Medical Clinic provides various health care services to patients of all ages in the Kedgwick region. Three family physicians practice at the clinic.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are the same in all the Network's hospitals.

General visiting hours

2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Two visitors at a time
  • Children under 12 years of age (special authorization) accompanied by an adult
  • General visiting hours do not apply to the Restigouche Hospital Centre

Special hours by unit/department

Intensive Care - Concentrated Care

  • 10 minutes per hour
  • Family members and significant others only

Obstetrics

  • Spouse and children: 24/7
  • Other visitors: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m

Palliative Care

  • Immediate family or significant others: 24/7
  • Other visitors: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Pediatrics

  • Parents or subsitute: 24/7
  • Other visitors: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m

Psychiatry

  • Weekdays: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Weekends and holidays: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Restigouche Hospital Centre

  • Family members and significant others:
  • Flexible hours according to the patient’s treatment plan
  • Forensic Unit:  Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Arrangements must be made with the Nurse Manager or delegate for each unit at all times

Our Team

Our team is made up of three family physicians.

History

The clinic opened its doors in November 1999 with just one physician. Since September 2010, three young physicians from the Kedgwick and Saint-Quentin areas provide services.
