General Info

The Network’s Addiction Services provide a continuum of services to people dealing with an addiction: prevention, treatment, hospitalization and follow-up. These services:
• Are person-centred;
• Are recovery-based;
• Involve the family and natural caregivers;
• Are linked to the community;
• Are based on efficient practices.

Services

Are you affected directly or indirectly (through your partner, parents, or friends) by addiction to alcohol, drugs, prescription medication, smoking, and/or gambling? If so, a range of specialized services are available to you, namely:
• Assessment of your situation and needs;
• Individual, family, and group services;
• Program for youth aged 12 to 19 and their parents; 
• Educational and prevention services offered at school, at work, and to the general public;
• Admission services for detox and for relapse prevention in Edmundston, Campbellton, and Tracadie-Sheila (available 24/7, by telephone or in person);
• 21-day residential rehab program offered in Campbellton.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are the same in all the Network's hospitals.

General visiting hours

2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Two visitors at a time
  • Children under 12 years of age (special authorization) accompanied by an adult
  • General visiting hours do not apply to the Restigouche Hospital Centre

Special hours by unit/department

Intensive Care - Concentrated Care

  • 10 minutes per hour
  • Family members and significant others only

Obstetrics

  • Spouse and children: 24/7
  • Other visitors: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m

Palliative Care

  • Immediate family or significant others: 24/7
  • Other visitors: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Pediatrics

  • Parents or subsitute: 24/7
  • Other visitors: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m

Psychiatry

  • Weekdays: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Weekends and holidays: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Restigouche Hospital Centre

  • Family members and significant others:
  • Flexible hours according to the patient’s treatment plan
  • Forensic Unit:  Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Arrangements must be made with the Nurse Manager or delegate for each unit at all times
Our Team

The team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, and care workers. They provide client-centred services with community support.
